The first step to homeownership is determining whether the homebuyer wants a custom-built or a move-in ready home. Much of this decision is based on the client’s desired location and home features, as well as the timeline that best suits their needs. Our new home consultants take each prospective homeowner on tours of various move-in ready homes so they can see floor plans and possibly discover their perfect home already completed!

After purchasing the home of their dreams and applying for a loan from the lender of their choice or one of our participating lenders, we move to the pre-construction andcolor meetingphase. Within two weeks, we schedule a consultation in which homeowners select all interior and exterior features and choose enhanced features to add to their new home.

Thirty days after framing is complete, homeowners participate in the “rough-in walk,” which is a walk-through scheduled by the homebuilder that allows the client to make the finishing touches, like deciding the final locations of the cable and electrical outlets. Home Creations spares no details!

The next step is homeowner orientation, a meeting conducted by a member of our customer care team, which allows clients to note any particular items that need to be taken care of in their home. Prior to closing, clients have a chance to walk through their new home and make sure all of these items are fixed. As your home builder, we want to make sure everything is perfect.

Finally, construction is complete and the most exciting step is here: CLOSING! You are officially a homeowner. When clients receive their keys, we like to include a complimentary gift to show how much we appreciate the chance to help fulfill your dreams of owning a home!

At Home Creations, service to our clients doesn’t end at closing. Our new home consultants and customer care team are more than happy to offer advice and recommendations to ensure our clients obtain everything to be a successful homeowner. We also conduct customer care walk-throughs 60 days after closing and again 11 months after closing. We want to do everything we can to ensure our clients remain as happy with their homes as they were on closing day!
