Hearts In Action

I was picking up trash along the Lake Hefner trail with the OKC Landrunners Saturday morning and realized how I take for granted the cleanliness of the area. I would occasionally run or cycle around the lake but was glad to have the opportunity that morning to change my perspective a little. I am also glad to be part of a community of runners who wants to play a part in serving others. Its about simply doing good for the society at large. On the same note, I am also blessed to work for a company that involves its employees …

Building a “House of Cans” to Fight Hunger

From October to December, we are inviting our homeowners and fellow Oklahomans to join us in the fight against hunger by bringing non-perishable donations to our model homes in the OKC and Tulsa metro areas. The donations will be used to build a house of cans, which will be donated to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma by December 14, 2012. “Constructing a house with canned food will be a great visual reminder to all our employees and customers that we are responsible for not just building quality homes but a caring community,” …

One Cause. One Home. One Family. Seven Days of Giving Back.

Since 2006, Home Creations has been given the opportunity to build homes for deserving families through the Central Habitat for Humanity Builders Blitz program. To date, we have built four homes including the most recent one for Hanina, a single mother of three. Hanina was originally from Sudan and immigrated to the United States in 2004. Unfortunately, her husband passed away of liver cancer shortly after their arrival. Fast forward to 2012, you will find Hanina and her three children adjusting well in Oklahoma and ready to become homeowners. We are blessed to have built Hanina a three-bedroom home in …

Participating in the Heart Walk, was not only …

An opportunity to help!

Sometimes you encounter people in life who are especially kind, helpful and generous to others. It has been my privilege the past ten years, to know a couple who has helped hundreds of Home Creations home owners obtain insurance at a reasonable cost and more importantly, when a hail storm, or car accident occurred, they were there with concern, advice, and prompt response on an insurance claim. They are more than insurance salesmen, they help people. Now they need our help. Their beautiful little girl, Riley, has a rare food disease called an Eosinophilic Disorder. Due to the rarity of …
