“Showhouse Showdown”…What a Great Idea!

Twenty years ago, who would have thought about making a reality TV show based on decorating two new homes, letting the public watch the homes being built and decorated, and then allowing the public to come in and vote on the best one. Well, “Showhouse Showdown” did just that, plus, they made it all entertaining. Watching the show in an audience of 150 people last night had to contribute to the fun. “Make an Offer” is a “Made for Fun” weekend for Home Buyers

Imagine being able to give away thousands of dollars to nice people who are needing a home. That’s the fun part of “Make an Offer” weekend at Home Creations.  Every three or four years, Home Creations has this event and New Home Consultants get to help customers find the home of their dreams plus give them huge discounts on prices. Showhouse Showdown Recap

Last February, Home Creations started making plans to build two identical model homes for Showhouse Showdown, a new reality series coming to HGTV this fall. The show features two professional interior designers who go head-to-head to see who can decorate their home the best. The outcome will be announced on national television August 29th. The event was held at Montague in Edmond, off NW 164th Ave. between MacArthur Ave. and Rockwell Ave. Over 400 people attended in the incredible heat. Hot dogs, snacks, snow cones and nearly 2,000 bottles of water were served while the crowd anxiously waited the homes’ reveal.
